LegalPrivacy notice

Privacy notice.

How V3Qtor AG handles personal data on this website and in its contact with you, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

V3Qtor AG, Rämistrasse 38, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland. Data-protection contact: tom.buchta@v3q.com.

2. What this site collects

  • Server logs. When you open a page, the web server records the IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser type and the referring page. The logs are used to keep the site running and secure and are deleted after 14 days.
  • Forms. If you register for the Operations Margin Report, subscribe to the Margin Brief or use the contact form, the details you enter (name, company, email address, message) are sent to our team by email, so we can reply to you or send what you asked for. The web server does not keep them; to limit repeated submissions it keeps only a one-way hash of your IP address.
  • Typefaces. The typeface Inter is loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google and transmits your IP address to Google. GT Sectra is served from this site’s own server.
  • Cookies and tracking. This site sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics service. It stores a small preference (the open capability tab, a submitted email address) in your browser’s local storage, which you can clear at any time.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process this data to operate the site (legitimate interest), to answer your enquiry and to send you what you requested (performance of a contract or steps before one, and your consent for the newsletter, which you can withdraw from any issue).

4. Sharing and transfer

We do not sell personal data. Hosting, email delivery and font delivery are provided by processors under contract: IONOS SE, Germany (hosting and outgoing email), Microsoft (our Microsoft 365 mailboxes), Google LLC (fonts). Where data leaves Switzerland or the EEA, the transfer rests on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is open and deleted once they are no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for 14 days.

6. Your rights

You can ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, for its correction or deletion, for a restriction of processing, and for a copy in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time. Write to the contact in section 1. You may also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, to your supervisory authority.

7. Changes

This notice is dated 19 October 2026 and will be updated when the site or the processing changes.

Questions about your data?

Write to the data-protection contact above. We answer within the statutory period.
