V3Qtor AG/Industries/Public sector

Case throughput up. Backlog down.

Public bodies measure in cases, days and files. We work with agencies on throughput, on backlogs that are seen before they grow, and on records that do not get lost between systems.

Where the margin sits

Where the days go in a public body.

Figures are modeled or targeted; sources and detail on request.

Daysper case

Throughput

Every case step timestamped, every queue priced, the bottleneck named. Modeled.

Backlogseen early

The queue before it grows

Intake forecast against capacity, so the backlog is a decision taken in spring rather than a headline in autumn.

Zerolost files

One record per case

Case, citizen and document records kept identical across the systems that hold them.

How it starts

What the first quarter looks like in an agency.

Thirteen weeks, from counting the days per case to a run-rate on the department’s board.

Weeks 1–3

Count the days

We take the case-management logs and measure the days per case, the queues between steps and the files that went missing.

You get: one page per case type with the days and the queue

Weeks 4–8

Pick the case type and the lever

One case type, usually the one with the longest queue. Intake validated, the queue forecast; our engineers sit with the case team.

You get: the first week with a shorter queue

Weeks 9–13

Run the department from it

The weekly review starts from the queue, the records stay in one place, the number goes on the department’s board.

You get: a throughput figure the director can read

Tell us which queue is longest. We will come back with where the days go and what the first quarter would change.
